| Fast, fun and funky, Portsmouth’s Slug and Lettuce recently unveiled its new bar from which it serves expertly mixed cocktails, as well as an eye-opening selection of wines, beers and spirits from across the globe. There is also food served here for lengthy munching or a quick snack during the lunch-hour. For those on the run, there are sandwiches, wraps and lighter bites, such as tempura prawns or Italian-style bruschetta. If you are enjoying a more involved meal, then you could try one of the gourmet burgers, the fish pie or, if you are vegetarian, the butternut squash and goat’s cheese lasagne. |
